End-to-end smoke test (register -> login -> fetch worlds) written, renamed to fit the checkpoint runner's naming convention, and verified: 4/4 steps pass against a real backend.
The tester had already written a complete, correct 148-line test before stalling -- it wasn't broken, its own verification attempt silently exited early because the task spec's suggested run command included --quit, which kills a --script SceneTree test before its awaited HTTP calls finish. Investigating that dead end burned all its retries.
Also fixed: scripts/smoke_test.gd -> scripts/smoke_test_e2e.gd. The task spec named it without the checkpoint runner's expected smoke_test_.gd suffix (run_checkpoint_tests.py globs scripts/smoke_test_.gd), so it would have silently never run as part of the checkpoint suite. Also corrected the --quit flag in the file's own usage comments so a human running it manually doesn't hit the same dead end.
